Dr.Wang  received two Chinese National Awards of Science and Technology respectively in 2004 and in 2010. He was awarded seven times for his excellent research works by the education ministry and some province governments in china. He is also the gainer of Fok Ying Tung Fund, Excellent Young Teacher Fund of Education Ministry and a winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He is the Principal Investigator of a Chinese National Basic Research Program (973) “Research on the Key Issues of Distributed Generation Systems” from 2009 to 2013.

    Dr.Wang is a member of IEEE, and a senior member of CSEE, and a member of the national committee of Cired and a member of national committee of Cigre. He is the chair of technical committee of 2010 China International Conference on Electricity Distribution (CICED), sponsored by Cired Chinese National Committee, co-organized by CIRED, and technically co-sponsored by IEEE/PES and IET.
