    Zhong-Ke Gao, Professor

Zhong-Ke Gao received the Ph.D. degree in Detection Technology and Automatic Equipment from the Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2010. He served as a Visiting Scholar at Arizona State University, USA, from 2009 to 2010; a DAAD Fellow at Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, in 2013; a Visiting Professor at City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2015; a Visiting Professor at National University of Singapore, Singapore, in 2016. Currently, he serves as a full Professor and PhD advisor within the School of Electrical and Information Engineering at Tianjin University in China.

Zhong-Ke Gao serves as Editorial Board Member for six SCI-indexed international journals: Scientific Reports (IF=5.228), PLoS ONE (IF=3.057), Neural Processing Letters (IF=1.747), Royal Society Open Science, IEEE Access (IF=1.27) and Mathematical Problems in Engineering (IF=0.644). Z.K. Gao is an active reviewer of 21 SCI-indexed international journals. As a lead guest editor, Z.K. Gao organized a special issue entitled “Advances in Time Series Analysis and its Applications” in a SCI-indexed international journal in 2015.

Zhong-Ke Gao has published one book (academic monograph) in Springer in 2014 and has published 73 SCI-indexed peer-reviewed journal articles. 6 first-author papers are selected as the ESI Top 1% Highly Cited Papers; 4 first-author papers are selected as the ESI Top 0.1% Hot Papers; 2 first-author papers are selected as the Most Cited Articles by two Elsevier journals: Experimental Thermal and Fluid Science and Nonlinear Analysis-Real World Applications; 1 first-author paper is selected as the Highlights of 2015 by the journal Europhysics Letters. His Google Scholar Citations is 1100. Zhong-Ke Gao owns 6 Chinese invention patents. His current research interests include sensor devices and sensor arrays, measurement science and technology, machine learning, complex network, deep learning, time series analysis, multiphase flow, multiscale analysis, nonlinear dynamics.
