Electronic Information Engineering Departmentis equipped with abundant staff resources, which is provided with nationally known experts and professors. There are 33 faculty members in this specialized field including 10 professors, 11 associate professors, 10 doctoral supervisors and 11 master supervisors.
Electrical Information Engineering further improve cognitive structure of professional training and strengthen the cultivation of computer application capacities, research and development and design abilities so as to meet the requirement of rapidly developing information society which demands top talents for Electronic Information Engineering Technology. Every year, about 15 doctoral candidates and 60 master candidates are enrolled. The undergraduates with excellent academic records can be recommended as Master-Doctor combined program postgraduates.
Electronic Information Engineering Department not only has published more than 20 course books and monographs in recent years, but also has undertook a great number of national high-tech research project, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China project, National High-tech RD Program of China (863 Program), The 9thand 10thFive Years Programs for Science and Technology Development of China, The Natural Science Foundation of Tianjin project, project of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Space and Aviation, the Ministry of Information Industry, China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC). The scientific research funds has achieved as high as millions of yuan.
