Special Issue of the IEEE Transaction on Applied Superconductivity Published

Date:2020年08月06日

The special issue of IEEE Transaction on Applied Superconductivity was officially published in February 2019. Professor Jin Jianxun from the Tianjin University School of Electrical and Information Engineering is the chief editor of the special issue and also the prime founder of ASEMD (International Conference on Applied Superconducting and Electromagnetic Devices). The IEEE journal is currently recognized as the most influential academic journal on the international frontier in the field of applied superconductivity.

The special issue is about the ASEMD2018 Conference held at Tianjin University from April 15 to 18, 2018. It contains about 200 articles submitted by experts from China, Australia, Europe, Japan, the United States, Southeast Asia, etc. All of the accepted papers will be included in the SCI (Science Citation Index), making ASEMD2018 the only international conference whose relevant papers are all included in the SCI.

Papers included in this special issue cover almost all the hot research topics in the field of superconductivity, such as superconducting ultra-high-speed magnetic levitation trains, superconducting energy pipelines, superconducting power equipment, superconducting smart grid, superconducting Tokamak, superconducting medical devices(MRI), superconducting magnets, and superconducting high-sensitivity testing technology, involving subjects of materials physics, electromagnetic devices, electric power, electronics, high-energy physics devices, transportation, new energy, science and technology of testing and control. The successful publication of the special issue has not only promoted the development of applied superconductivity in China, but also brought the superconducting research to the forefront of the world.
