On June 16, the School of Automation held a donation ceremony in building 26 on the Weijin Road Campus. More than 80 alumni who had been admitted into Tianjin University in 1995 attended the ceremony.
The alumni who had been Enterprise Electric majors donated a tripod,implying their support to the development of the school, and those from the Instrumentation major donated a flat-panel TV to be installed in the school’s meeting room.
Li Jiping, the party secretary of the school and the president of the school’s alumni association,were present at the donation ceremony and presented a donation certificate to the alumni.
