Main courses for post graduates in this discipline are: the theories and practices of socialism with Chinese characteristics, applied functional analysis, engineering optimization, linear network analysis, modern power system analysis, graph theory and its application, theory and emerging technologies of electrical engineering lectures. The discipline emphasizes on both theories and practice skills, aiming at enhancing the capabilities of literature review, self-learning, experiment conducting and problem solving. Postgraduates have the opportunity of taking part in research programs at national or provincial level, performing research plans on their own under the guidance of their supervisors, publishing SCI/EI papers and finishing their academic dissertations.
