    1988年留学日本,获博士学位后曾任助理教授、副教授,2002年回国任教授、博士生导师。IEEE高级会员,中国电机工程学会高级会员,国际大电网组织D1工作组成员。中国电工技术学会工程电介质专业委会委员,中国电工技术学会电线电缆专业委会委员,中国电机工程学会高电压新技术专业委会委员,中国机械工业教育协会高电压与绝缘技术分委会委员,天津电力学会高电压专委会副主任委员。《IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation》副主编,《Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy》、《High Voltage》、《高电压技术》、《绝缘材料》和《电器与能效管理技术》编委。主要从事电力变压器、断路器,电力电缆以及智能电网装备与应用超导关键技术研究。发表论文350余篇,其中IEEE Transactions文章70余篇。
